Abstract
The purpose of this study was to obtain updated information from trainers in school psychology regarding their beliefs and use of distance education (DE) and distance education technologies (DET) in the preparation of school psychologists. Researchers analyzed survey responses from 137 individuals from 93 different training programs. While the majority of respondents acknowledged using DET in their programs, results suggested that trainers were more supportive of DE for knowledge-based courses versus those that focus on skill development. Further results and future implications for training are shared.
